"We wanted to give Naija Ratels a design that only them can wear and not any other team around the globe," Haggai Sporstwear C.E.O, Paul Maduakor.

It’s the most common colour in the natural world, and it’s second only to blue as the most common favorite colour. It’s the colour we associate with money, the environment, and it’s the colour of revitalization and rebirth. More importantly, it is our National Colour in Nigeria.

"Meanwhile, the Yellow Colour symbolises the sun which brings light to the world, signifying happiness, youthfulness, hope and fearlessness in line with our vision to make these young ladies the light of the world and unlock their hidden potentials. As we climb the ladder of time, Naija Ratels will surely be the shinning light in women football world over."

We are ready for Katsina United - says Kwara United gaffer Abdullahi Biffo

We are ready for Katsina United - says Kwara United gaffer Abdullahi Biffo

Abdullahi Biffo who is the handler of NPFL giants Kwara United has confirmed his wards' readiness for today's battle against his former club Katsina United.

Biffo and his warriors will be going into this match with their noses in front having recorded an emphatic 5-0 win over Adamawa United in their last game in Ilorin in which Stephen Jude netted hat-trick against the visitors.

Katsina United have not been superb at home this season in the NPFL as they have only won once in their last three games and they will seek the wherewithal to pull themselves out of their present predicament.

But beating Kwara United this afternoon will be a great task for Coach Baldwin Bazuaye and his men considering the fact that Katsina United have only beaten the Harmony Boys once in their history.

These two teams have met four times in competitive football with Kwara United having three wins, while Katsina United have one.

Katsina United's only win ever over Kwara United was on March 17, 2019 when Martins Ursule's 13th minute goal condemned the Harmony Boys to a defeat in an encounter the hosts finished with 10 men as former ABS captain Chinedu Ajanah was sent off in the 68th minute.

However, the last game between Kwara United and Katsina United ended in a 2-0 win for Harmony Boys on January 12, 2020 with Issah Saidu and Waheed Afolabi netting the two goals.

"I was here before as Katsina United coach and I know how things work here as I hope it will be of great advantage for my players in today's game.

"My players were awesome in our last game against Adamawa and the win will put them in right sense to get good result today against Katsina United," Biffo explained to Kwara United media.

After today's match-day 18 encounter against Katsina United, Kwara United will be traveling back to Ilorin on Monday where they will start preparation for their next game against Nasarawa United.

MFM record first ever  victory over Enyimba Int’l

For the first time in their history, Mountain of Fire Miracles Ministries FC beat seven-time Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Enyimba, 1-0 in Matchday 15 rescheduled fixture played on Thursday at the Soccer Temple, Agege Stadium.

The Olukoya Boys bounce back to winning ways as they boost their chances of survival with the win over the visitors after three consecutive defeats to Akwa United, Rivers United and Kano Pillars.

Before the match, Enyimba were on eight games unbeaten run in the league but they failed to beat the Olukoya Boys as Ebenezer Odeyemi earned his team the crucial win with a 22nd strike.

“It was a tough game but I must give kudos to my boys for their performance today.

“ I think everyone is excited with this victory and I’m as well too because it’s an important one. We were at 17th position on the league table before the game but now we have moved to 14th spot.

“We just have to build on this victory as we approach other matches with the right mentality and I believe the sky will be our starting point.

The win has taken MFM to 14th place on the log  with 20 points from possible 51 points from 17 NPFL games. They will face Jigawa Golden Stars in their next league match at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna State.

Kwara United condole with Lobi Stars over death of Team Manager Imenger

The management, staff, and players of NPFL leaders Kwara United wish to condole with Lobi Stars over the heartbreaking demise of their Team Manager Barnabas Imenger.

Nigerian football fraternities were all thrown into deep mourning on Monday following the painful death of the former Super Eagles star.

Until his death, Imenger was said to have battled against sickness before he embarked on a journey of no return.

In an official statement, Kwara United prayed that God should grant the late football icon eternal rest and be the strength for all his family members.

"Imenger's death came a shocking one for us at Kwara United and we want to commiserate with everyone at Lobi Stars, his family and the people of Benue state.

"We pray that God in His Infinite Mercies will forgive him and give him eternal rest in Paradise," Kwara United stated.

Imenger is the father of former Kwara United star Nenen who played 58 games for the Harmony Boys between 2010 and 2012 netting 23 goals.

Meanwhile, Lobi Stars are currently occupying 9th position on the NPFL table with 25 points after 16 games played so far.

Crisis Looms as Players Question Coach Yema Over SWAN Selected Team List

Crisis Looms as Players Question Coach Yema Over SWAN Selected Team List

Reactions have trailed the list of SWAN Selected team which was released by coach Yema Daniel on Monday. The list is replete with regular faces.

Like every team list, coach Yema's list met criticism because of questionable inclusion of some players in the squad, some of whom are either not fit or have not kicked a ball in many months

Olayinka Owolewa who has a perfect record with the team was placed on the standby list while bulky striker, Kingsley Oyero made the squad ahead of Owolewa and Enitan Obadina. Remarkably, Owolewa scored on his debut for the team.

Owelewa could not hide his frustration as he called his coach out. The obviously annoyed Owolewa said: "Dear Coach Yema Star Coach⁩, I made a cameo appearance for the SWAN Selected side in Kaduna some months ago and scored on my debut. Releasing this list, you placed a very fit me on standby, can you please explain to the house the difference between you and Gernot Rohr who left out an inform Onuachu and called a very clubless Ahmed Musa. Please explain to the house."

Ibitoye Shittu, Owolewa's colleague at Kwara SWAN, described the list as a "padi padi list" and equated coach Yema's decision with the contentious decision made by Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr to keep Genk striker, Onuachu on the standby list even after scoring 27 goals in all competitions for his club

"Putting Owolewa on standby is like Rohr putting Onuachu on standby. Owolewa is the best striker in Kwara SWAN. This list na yeye padi padi list made under mango trees".

Ibitoye Shittu's comment did not sit well with Tobi Adepoju who quickly suggested that the striker is not popular and he went as far as calling Kwara SWAN members "broke people".

"How many Kwara people dey cover Super Eagles games? They are broke people."

Pacy striker, Enitan Obadina could not hide his displeasure that a bulky Kingsley Oyero was selected ahead of him and he suggested that coach Yema's palms were greased. The pacy striker asked: "Koyero ke, did he bribe you @⁨Yema Star Coach⁩ ?"

On his part, Edward Johnny demanded the immediate sack of the coach, despite his success with the team. He posted: "Sack @⁨Yema Star Coach⁩ now. He didn't include me in his squad."

Few minutes after his fellow forgotten players gave vent to their frustrations, Miyen Akiri suggested that the list was highly influenced by the "powers above"

The player who is popularly called 'Aja owa ni o' questioned coach Yema's decisions. Miyen asked: "Yema can you honestly come out and tell us how you selected this players and what was the yardstick?

See we will list names you left out from Miyen Akiri to Johnny Edward. we will bring you a list"

Coach Yema has yet to respond to these frontal questions from his players as at the time of writing this report

NLO21 Season: Ten-Man Magate Share Spoils With Destiny Boys

NLO21 Season: Ten-Man Magate Share Spoils With Destiny Boys

A superb flick into the top corner of goal with the head by Seun Adepoju in the 58th minute, was all Magate FC needed to draw 1️⃣-1️⃣ with log leaders Destiny Boys in a sixth game of the Nationwide League One (NLO) season played at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State.

Magate who beat Zenith Emperor 72hours earlier, took the game to the group favourite with positive counter-attacking play.

The Coach Farouk side who finished the game with 10-man received a blow below the belt as the team lost it's 'Captain Fantastic' Adeniyi Aliu in the 25th minute to injury after he had a cut below his left eye as he was elbowed by Destiny Boys defender during the run of play.

The Magate bench, were left in awe as the offender walked away without been cautioned, as neither the centre referee nor his first assistant saw the infringement.

Less than five minutes after Aliu was replaced, Destiny Boys scored the first goal of the game via Qosim Abdulrahim.

Magate had the chance to level scores in the 36th minute but Philips effort on goal hit the side netting for a goal kick to Destiny FC.

The away side went into the break with their one goal lead even as the Coach Farouk side   pressed for an equalising goal.

The second 45 minutes was a soaked tensed  as Magate scored an equalizing goal and ended the game with a player out.

Seun Adepoju was a torn in the flesh of Destiny Boys defenders with his pace. His effort was rewarded in the 53rd minute as he nodded a cross from Philips assist into the net to make scores even.

Magate were hard done in the 76th minute after it's centre-back Oluwaseun Babatunde was shown his marching orders after scooping up a second yellow card.

The Coach Farouk side did show character and kept their focus after the unfortunate incident, as they kept Destiny Boys defenders at bay, defending well till the blast of full time.

Magate FC now has 8 points from six games while Destiny Boys kept their number one spot on the log after it garnered 17 points from seven games.

Delicious 27 Odds of Straight Wins ACCA on ZEbet

Delicious 27 Odds of Straight Wins ACCA on ZEbet

It's another Sunday offering exciting football actions across leagues in Europe.

In the English Premier League, West Ham United are targeting their fourth home win in a row when Arsenal cross the capital for a crucial London Derby.

In something of a role reversal, West Ham are pushing for Champions League qualification this season, while Arsenal are scratching around for points in midtable, and the Irons will be confident of securing a result that reaffirms their superiority over the Gunners on Sunday.

In the Italian Serie A, champions Juventus will be looking to continue their brilliant home record when they host a lowly Benevento at the Juventus Stadium.

Juventus are 10 points off the top in Serie A but they have their focus set on a title challenge. The champions have won their last seven home league games, scoring at least two goals in each of these matches while conceding just three goals.

Juve are expected to continue that brilliant run when they host a terrible Benevento side. The visitors are on the longest current winless run of any side in Serie A – 11 games.

In the Spanish La Liga, Real Sociedad look set to give Barcelona a proper test to close the weekend's actions in Spain.

Barcelona have won their last eight away trips in La Liga on the bounce, but Real Sociedad will fancy their chances of halting that sequence at Reale Arena tonight.

The Catalans aren’t opposed lightly here based on that tremendous run, while they’re also unbeaten in their last 17 league starts overall, winning 14.

In the French Ligue 1, two of this season’s title-challengers lock horns as Olympique Lyon play host to the defending champions PSG at Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

Lyon had to settle for a share of the spoils in their last game against Reims, which ended in a 1-1 draw. PSG beat Lille in midweek when the pair clashed in the Coupe de France but lost their last league games 2-1 at home to Nantes.

A solitary strike from Kadewere proved enough to earn Lyon a win at the Parc des Princes when they last took on PSG in December. That victory coupled with Lyon’s current five-game unbeaten run in all competitions should give the hosts plenty of belief heading into a tricky home game this weekend.

In the Dutch Eredivisie, two sides vying for a top two finish meet as PSV travel to AFAS Stadion to take on AZ Alkmaar.

There should be plenty of goals this weekend as second travels to third in the race for Champions League qualification in Eredivisie.

Alkmaar have won five of their last six games with a disappointing loss to Vitesse being the only blotch on their copy book in recent weeks. They currently sit in third place, just three points behind their opponents this weekend and know a victory will increase their chances of finishing second and claiming the coveted Champions League qualification place.

Amidst this flurry of  actions across leagues in Europe, we have carefully picked a few matches in this Straight Wins ACCA tipping the home and away favorites to triumph against their opponents.

These selections have been made based on available H2H stats and current forms of the selected teams.

Sweet 16 Odds of Home Wins ACCA on ZEbet

Sweet 16 Odds of Home Wins ACCA on ZEbet

Exciting football actions continue this Saturday across leagues in Europe and Africa.

In the English Premier League, Brighton and Newcastle meet to slug it out for three points in a pivotal basement battle at the AMEX Stadium.

Two of the Premier League’s prime relegation candidates meet on Saturday evening when Brighton host Newcastle in a potentially pivotal basement battle at the Amex Stadium.

The Seagulls will start Saturday’s contest just one place and one point ahead of 17th placed Newcastle, and with Fulham just two points further back, the need for a positive result for both teams is stark.

In the Italian Serie A, Crotone & Bologna go head to head for the most important three points.

Crotone have lost eight of their last nine games in Serie A, with that form leaving them in trouble. The hosts are cut adrift at the bottom, with problems mounting ahead of their meeting with a Bologna side who are fresh from a victory.

The home side are rooted to the bottom of the table, with a return to Serie B looking likely. Of Crotone’s 15 points this season, 13 have come against the bottom six. Above that, the hosts have lost 18 of their 20 matches, proving how out of their depth they are in the top flight.

In the Spanish La Liga, . Real Madrid will be hoping to make up further ground in La Liga’s title race when they visit Celta Vigo.

A couple of months ago Real Madrid’s chances of winning La Liga appeared to be over, but a seven-match unbeaten run, coupled with Atletico Madrid’s recent dip in form, has brought Los Blancos back into contention.

Indeed, Real are unbeaten in nine matches across all competitions, registering seven wins during that time, while their away form has remained consistent all season, as they have only lost once in 14 La Liga matches on the road.

In the German Bundesliga, league leaders Bayern Munich can secure another three points in a high scoring affair against Stuttgart.

Stuttgart are unbeaten in five (W3, D2) and in decent shape going into the weekend but Die Roten should be overpowered by leaders Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

That was the case in November’s reverse fixture at the Mercedes-Benz Arena where Bayern ran out comfortable 1-3 winners and that marked the fifth game in seven between these sides which has resulted in a win for the Bavarians and over 3.5 goals scored.

Amidst this flurry of  actions across Europe, we have carefully picked a few matches in this Home Wins ACCA backing the awesome home favorites to triumph against their opponents.

These selections have been made based on available H2H stats and current forms of the selected teams.
