 Onazi Pays Courtesy Visit to ANFSC



2013 AFCON winner, Ogenyi Onazi paid a courtesy visit to the National Secretariat of Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club on Monday 8th of February, 2021.


Onazi's visit is very strategic as its to familiarise himself with the club ahead of the important role he is to play as ANFSC is set to unveil its plans for 2021 and beyond.


"Onazi is my brother and friend, he has always supported the ANFSC brand and its only right for him to visit the National secretariat to get a feel of the brand and see the base of our daily operations" stated the national president of ANFSC, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi.



On his part, Onazi was amazed at the aesthetic nature of the secretariat and he was visible impressed by all that he saw. "I am amazed by all that ANFSC has achieved in such a short period and I am asking Nigerians to support the brand to make it bigger" Onazi stated.

 ANFSC Unveils Yobo, Emenike As Brand Ambassadors 



The foremost supporters club in Nigeria, Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club  at its Surulere Lagos National secretariat on Thursday 4th of February unveiled Former Super Eagles Captain and current assistant coach of the Super Eagles, Joseph Yobo and AFCON 2013 golden boot winner, Emmanuel Emenike as brand ambassadors in a quiet ceremony. 

 


Yobo who has earned over one hundred appearances for the Super Eagles was impressed by the what he termed "the achievements of ANFSC in such a short time" and he also commended the president of ANFSC, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi for his diligence and steadfastness as he said he has known "Bonfere" as he loves to call Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi for the best part of two decades. 



Former Fenerbahce of Turkey striker Emmanuel Emenike on his part stated that he supports causes that better the football and society at large which is one of the reasons he built a hospital and supports every foundations that takes care of the needy and downtrodden and he sees supporting Authentic Nigeria Football supporters as a brand worth supporting due to the credibility of the National president, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi whose rise from being a mascot to becoming the leader of the foremost supporters club in Nigeria as an inspiration for Nigerian youths to emulate. 



On his part, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi thanked the superstars for accepting to be ambassadors of Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club and he promises not to take their support for granted, the president also used the opportunity to state that the ANSFC will be in a matter of weeks unveil their plans for the year and also make a very important announcement on the next step for ANFSC. 





Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters has amongst its patrons notable personalities such as Oba Enitan Ogunwusi the Ooni of Ife, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai the governor of Kaduna state, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion the Esama of Benin amongst others.

ANFSC Visits Orphanage

 ANFSC Visits Orphanage 



It was a day of sober reflection  and giving gratitude to God as Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club visited Heart of Gold children Hospice. 


The visit is an annual tradition by ANFSC to Thank God for the past year and give to the orphans to put a smile on their faces. 



"Nothing gives me joy like seeing smiles on the faces of the needy and less privileged in the society" National President of Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi stated.


"We have had a rough year due to the pandemic and we lost a few prominent people in the Nigerian football circle so we are using this as a point of contact to thank God for surviving 2020 and also make the children smile as we look forward to a prosperous 2021" he further stated.



Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club donated rice, Noodles, beverages and a few sanitary items to the orphanage.


Hearts of Gold Children Hospice is a care and management center for children with mental and extreme physical disabilities

ANFSC Celebrates AIG Garba Umar

 We at Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club felicitate with  the newly –promoted Assistant Inspector General of Police (Interpol) Garba Umar Baba on his promotion.

 


AIG Garba Umar Baba has been a friend of Nigerian football for quite sometime, he has served in an advisory capacity on Security matters.

 


Over the years, he has been seen leading, supervising and monitoring security and safety arrangements at stadia all over the country during matches involving the National Teams and Representative Clubs.

 


We pray that God continues to strengthen you as you lend your support to the development of Nigerian football.

 ANFSC Endorses China Acheru's Book



Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters club (ANFSC) have come out to endorse A Thousand Times On The Same Road a book, by Veteran sports journalist, China Acheru.


President of Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi while receiving copies of the book on behalf of the club stated that he always appreciates innovative ideas and likes to support progressive thinking people.



"I have known China Acheru for quite sometime albeit from afar but I have always loved his storytelling style, I recommend this book for lovers of Nigerian football as it tells us about a lot of behind the scenes happenings in Nigerian football" Prince Abayomi stated. 


Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi also present Mr China Acheru with the club's branded nose mask while stating that the club supports  the government's Covid-19 guidelines and urges citizens to adher to the protocols and he also stressed that the club in its own little way supports the community by giving out Hand sanitizers and Nose masks.


A thousand times on the same road is a book about the adventures of China Acheru while covering football at sixty-one stadiums across 49 Nigerian towns, seventeen stadiums across sixteen African cities and stadiums in Europe and South America spanning three decades.

ANFSC Shines At The Kaduna Marathon

 ANFSC  Shines In Kaduna Marathon



The city of Kaduna was turned into a carnival like, as award winning Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club was in hand to give life and glamour to the 2020 Kaduna Marathon.



The melodious tunes from the supporters club got the fans and the athletes entertained.


The Kaduna City Marathon which was hosted by the Kaduna state Government and organized by Nilayo Sports Management Limited NSML.



Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi, the leader of the group commended the Kaduna state government led by Mallam El rufai , who is a patron of ANFSC and the management of Nilayo Sports Management Limited NSML for putting up such a wonderful sporting event.

The President of Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi has said that the supporters club has put finishing touches towards having a live viewing centre for fans of the Super Eagles to come and support the team as they take on the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in an AFCON 2021 qualifier on Friday 12th of November 2021.


Prince, Ogunjimi made this known while featuring on Silverbird Television's Sports cafe on Thursday 12th of  November.



According to Prince Ogunjimi,  "Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club has always being the 12th man for the Super Eagles and other national teams but the common enemy (Covid-19) has made that difficult this time but we still believe that the Super Eagles will soar over the Leone Stars"


Remember that the Super Eagles are scheduled to play behind closed doors due to Covid-19 regulations as stipulated by CAF, the NCDC and the PTF 


NFF’s Director of Competitions, Bola Oyeyode on Monday said only individuals accredited by the NFF would be allowed inside the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium for the Day 3 qualifier, which will kick off at 5pm Nigeria time.



“I am excited by the sense of dedication and commitment exhibited by the players. We have not played a competitive match in a long time, but they look very ready and good to go. We expect at least four points in these two matches.” Prince Abayomi said. 


In this light, the Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club has thrown open the gates of the  National Secretariat situated at 96, Ogunlana drive, Surulere Lagos for Nigerians to cheer the Super Eagles to victory with lots of entertainment, refreshments and other side attractions. 


All that is required for admission into our hall to watch the game is to come wearing your Nigerian jersey, face mask and a means of identification.
