Delicious 60 Odds of Straight Wins ACCA on ZEbet

Delicious 60 Odds of Straight Wins ACCA on ZEbet

It's another Sunday offering exciting football actions across leagues in Europe.

In the English Premier League, Chelsea hope to maintain their unbeaten run under Thomas Tuchel when they host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel’s unbeaten start to life at Stamford Bridge continued with an excellent 1-0 win over La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid in midweek, but on Sunday he faces his biggest test in the Premier League so far as Chelsea host Manchester United.

Chelsea have undoubtedly shown huge improvements since the run of one win in five games that saw Frank Lampard sacked, but against a side boasting an incredibly impressive away record they might find it difficult to return to winning ways after their draw at St Mary’s last weekend.

Italian Serie A heavyweights,  Roma and AC Milan clash at Stadio Olimpico.

These two sides both progressed in the Europa League on Thursday, but neither look convincing going into this big top-four showdown on Sunday.

AC Milan may be in the title race, but they’ve fallen to second after consecutive Serie A defeats. The Rossoneri have failed to win in four after drawing both legs of their Europa League clash with Red Star.

However, Roma aren’t well-placed to take advantage. The hosts have failed to beat any side in Serie A’s top eight (D4 L4). Despite that, they’ve collected the most points at home in Serie A this season (30), going unbeaten here.

In the Spanish La Liga, leaders Atlético Madrid are under pressure to get a positive result against Villarreal after claiming just five points from their last four league games.

Whilst Villarreal triumphed in their recent UEFA Europa League tie, no team across Europe’s top five divisions has recorded more top-flight draws this season than the ‘Yellow Submarine’ (13), so figuring out how to finish games off in La Liga action remains a priority. That’s especially so as a six-game winless La Liga run (D1, L5) is putting their top-six aspirations in jeopardy.

In normal circumstances a match vs the league leaders would be a daunting prospect, but Villarreal welcome an Atlético Madrid side that’s showing weaknesses and that’s won just one of their last four La Liga fixtures (W1, D2, L1).

In the German Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen aim to complete a league double over Freiburg at the BayArena.

Bayer Leverkusen won a six-goal thriller at Freiburg earlier in the season and their rematch at the BayArena could be another high-scoring contest.

That 4-2 victory at Freiburg is one of many entertaining encounters featuring Bayer Leverkusen this season, and there have been plenty of goals in their recent matches to suggest this could be another classic too.

Leverkusen’s 11 home games this season have seen 38 goals – an average of 3.45 per match – and with no clean sheet in ten league games, more thrills and spills appear likely.

Amidst this flurry of  actions across leagues in Europe, we have carefully picked a few matches in this Straight Wins ACCA tipping the home and away favorites to triumph against their opponents.

These selections have been made based on available H2H stats and current forms of the selected teams.

Sweet 13 Odds of Straight Wins ACCA on ZEbet

Sweet 13 Odds of Straight Wins ACCA on ZEbet

It is another Saturday ushering in a weekend of exciting football actions across leagues around the world.

From England to Scotland, Spain to Italy, Germany to Austria, Belgium to Netherlands, there is no shortage of frenzy football moments.

In the English Premier League, league leaders Man City are favourites to ease past top four hopefuls West Ham in Saturday's early kickoff.

Manchester City are battling for silverware on four fronts this season, and the relentless Citizens look ready to ride roughshod over West Ham in what could prove another routine victory at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola’s winning machine warmed up for their date with the Hammers with a comfortable 2-0 triumph in Germany against a hapless Borussia Monchengladbach outfit, and City’s success was a record-breaking 14th away win in a row in all competitions.

In the German Bundesliga, defending champions Bayern Munich will be looking for a positive response after two disappointing results when they host FC Cologne at the Allianz Arena.

It was normal service resumed for Bayern Munich as they ran riot in a 4-1 stroll at Lazio in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie on Tuesday.

Injuries have not been kind to Bayern, who could name only five outfield players on their bench in Rome, and as a result domestic performances have been way below the levels we have become to expect.

The visitors are set-up to counter-attack and they should get some joy against Bayern’s high-defensive line.

The Munich giants are two points clear at the top of the Bundesliga, but they have shipped 31 goals in 22 league games and are on a two-game winless run in the league. A thrilling 3-3 draw at home to Arminia Bielfeld was followed by a 2-1 loss in Frankfurt.

In the Spanish La Liga, both Sevilla and Barcelona will attempt to bag a crucial three points to close in further on faltering leaders Atletico Madrid when the two sides clash at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Sevilla and Barcelona have the opportunity to pile further pressure on stuttering leaders Atleti this Saturday.

Los Palanganas are now just seven points off the top after six straight league victories and their sequence has been almost flawless with clean sheets maintained in their last five.

Julen Lopetegui’s men have also won all but one of their last 11 starts in all competitions (L1), a run that includes their fine 2-0 Copa Del Rey semi-final victory here against Barca earlier this month.

And there really aren’t many reasons to believe that Sevilla can’t repeat the feat this Saturday against the Catalans who have been underwhelming for most of the campaign.

Ronald Koeman’s side sit two points above Sevilla in third having played a game extra and are still in contention to fight for the title. Nonetheless, they’ve come up short on so many key occasions this term and are quite simply not the force of old.

In the Italian Serie A, defending champions Juventus who are in stellar form will be looking to climb the Serie A table when they travel to Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi to take on Hellas Verona.

Juventus have kept a clean sheet in four of their last five league games, as many as in their previous 27. They’ve won each of those four to nil and by at least two clear goals.

Juve have a habit of comfortable victories on the road this term, with all of their away wins so far coming by a two-goal margin or greater. They’ve won seven of their last nine in Serie A by two goals or more, with 12 of their 13 league wins overall coming by a margin of at least two.

Juventus have scored the most Serie A goals in the last 15 minutes of play this season (14) so they’re capable of putting a gloss on the scoreline late on when their opponents go chasing. When you combine that with them scoring first in 64% of their trips.

Amidst this flurry of  actions across leagues in Europe, we have carefully picked a few matches in this Straight Wins ACCA tipping the home and away favorites to triumph against their opponents.

These selections have been made based on available H2H stats and current forms of the selected teams.

Ratel Sports Foundation Raise Money In Girl-Child School Campaign Novelty Match

Ratel Sports Foundation Raise Money In Girl-Child School Campaign Novelty Match.

Over One million Naira was raised as Ratel Sports Foundation and Sports Writers Association Of Nigeria (SWAN) joined forces in a novelty match in Abuja to campaign in support of the 'Girl Child School Campaign'.

In a continuous effort to raise awareness on the need to tackle illiteracy, poverty, discrimination amongst the girl child, Ratel Sports Foundation, a non Governmental Organization formed by Legal Luminary, Barrister Paul Edeh decided to hold a fundraising novelty match to give hope to the common girl child, who have been deprived of education.

In an entertaining encounter, which ended in a 2-2 draw, Naija Ratels scored first in the 20th minute through midfielder Emmanuel Blessing, before Olawale Ayeni of Leadership Newspaper equalized few minutes later.

In the second half, Tobi Sangotola of Voice of Nigeria put SWAN ahead in the 46th minute but, a well-tailored cross by Animashaun Aishat gave Adenike Olonilua the chance to dab the ball into the net to earn Ratels a deserved comeback.

Speaking after the game, the Convener of the fundraising Match, Barrister Paul Edeh underlined that children all over the world, have the right to education.

The United Nations SDG Peace Ambassador stressed that educating girls is key to ending poverty in the world, noting that Ratels Sports Foundation and  Naija Ratels as a club has contributed immensely to the well-being of the Girl-Child through various programmes and initiatives.

"The idea of forming Naija Ratels in the first place was not mainly to have a Women football club but to make a mark in giving back to the girl child.

"We realized that not all of them can be lawyers, not all can go to school or have a formal education. So, we thought that a football club would be an avenue for them to express their God-given talents.

"Today, we are here to highlight the need to educate the girl child. That is why we are playing this match against FCT SWAN," Edeh said.

"The girl child deserve better and am glad that we have been able to raise well over a million Naira through this campaign and this money will be used to give scholarships to indigent girls who can't afford to go to school."

On his part, Ndubueze Chidoka, FCT SWAN chairman appreciated the efforts of the foundation while encouraging members to engage in sporting activities.

"It is good for us to keep fit and take our health seriously, by doing exercises. Members here are happy and many of them are already asking me when we can have another event like this.

"We appreciate Ratels Sports Foundation for this kind of project and we as a body are glad that money has been raised for the girl child education through this initiative."

The President of Naija Ratels Football Club, Edeh, also donated the sum of N50,000 in cash to the association as part of its support for the burial of the late Segun Ogunjimi of the Nation Newspaper, who was a highly resourceful, humble and dilligent sports journalist and further promised that the foundation has pledged to host a novelty match in honour of him.

My NPFL Match day 11 picks On Bet9ja

Match day eleven fixtures will take centre stage today in the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL, following the trend, there is a possibility of having shocking results in some match venues today, my picks below.

MFM vs Adamawa United.

The church boys will hope to bounce back from two consecutive loses after their disappointing home loss to Heartland was followed by the 1-0 defeat suffered at Kano Pillars.

On the part of Adamawa United, they are 20th on the log, they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by FC Ifeanyi Ubah the last time out so it should be an easy ride for the Church boys in Lagos. MFM to win this.

Sunshine Stars vs Heartland.

Two sides that are comfortable playing anywhere whether home or on away soil, Sunshine will be basking on the Euphoria of picking a point at Wikki Tourists last weekend while Heartland will hope to pick up from their 2-0 win over Lobi Stars, however, Sunshine Stars are the team with momentum and will not want to drop more points at home at this stage. A win for Sunshine Stars.

Abia Warriors vs Warri Wolves

Imama Amapakabo tutored Abia Warriors started late though, but for a team that defeated Rangers 1-0 the last time out, beating fellow relegation battlers Warri Wolves who are 19th on the log should not be an issue, the home side will take this.

Lobi Stars vs Kano Pillars

The two teams on their days can score goals, even though Pillars have picked points on the road this season, it will be dicey betting against a wounded Lobi that lost to heartland recently, while it's almost certain that Lobi will get at least a point in the game, Kano Pillars with Nyima Nwagua, Rabiu Alli and others can score goals, so my selection is Over 1.5

Enugu Rangers vs Kwara United

Rangers are coming off a defeat at Abia Warriors and they face table toppers Kwara United who have amassed 21 points in 10 NPFL games this season, it may end all square, but both teams will likely score so my safe take is Over 1.5

FC Ifeanyi Ubah vs Katsina United

FC Ifeanyi Ubah may not be everyone's favourite at this point in time, but the best way to get out of the relegation battle is to gradually win games and amass points anywhere, they were able to get a 1-1 draw against Adamawa United last time out and this time against a tricky Katsina United who pipped Jigawa Golden Stars 1-0 last time out, Coach Uche Okagbue must set his boys out to get the job done at home. I see a slim FC Ifeanyi Ubah Victory.

It's another Sunday offering exciting football actions across leagues in Europe.

Headlining the Super Sunday actions in the English Premier League is the heavyweight clash between Arsenal and high flying Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium.

The student will challenge the master on Sunday when Mikel Arteta attempts to outthink Pep Guardiola at the Emirates Stadium, though the Man City supremo looks ready to teach his former protegee a lesson in London.

Arteta rolled out his big guns on Thursday evening for Arsenal’s Europa League draw against Benfica, though his decision to field his stars could backfire when the Gunners take on the possession hungry Citizens tonight.

The top-two teams in the  Italian Serie A,  AC Milan and Inter Milan clash in a mouth-watering Derby di Milano this evening.

Sunday's Derby di Milano could prove one of the most significant in recent years, as the two teams sit first and second in the Serie A standings, with Inter holding a one-point advantage.

Milan had topped the table for most of the season, but a run of two wins from their last six games across all competitions has contributed to them falling from the summit.

The Rossoneri were also involved in Europa League action during the week, drawing 2-2 away at Red Star Belgrade, so tiredness could be a factor today.

In the Spanish La Liga, Catalans giants Barcelona will be seeking a positive response  after their Champions League defeat to PSG when they host lowly Cadiz at Camp Nou.

Barcelona are in need of a positive response after Tuesday’s 4-1 Champions League crumbling at home to Paris Saint-Germain and that may spell trouble for a Cadiz side in freefall.

Prior to their European disappointment, Barca had found some consistency in La Liga and had put some pressure on leading Atletico Madrid with a 12-game unbeaten run.

Ronald Koeman’s men have won each of their last seven La Liga fixtures and the latest of them saw them thump Alaves 5-1 at the Nou Camp.

And another high-scoring win appeals against a confidence-starved Cadiz, who have suffered four straight heavy defeats.

In the German Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen aim to inflict another defeat on struggling Augsburg as the two sides clash at WWK Arena.

Augsburg are in freefall in the Bundesliga and another defeat may beckon at home to Europa League hopefuls Bayer Leverkusen.

Augsburg had made a promising start to the season but they have won only three of their 15 Bundesliga matches since the beginning of November.

Heiko Herrlich is now looking anxiously over his shoulder with only a four-point buffer on Arminia Bielefeld, who occupy the relegation playoff place.

In the Dutch Eredivisie, leaders Ajax look to maintain their excellent winning run in all competitions when they play host to Sparta Rotterdam at Johan Cruyff Arena.

Ajax ran out 2-0 winners in their last Eredivisie game against Heracles and then beat Lille 2-1 away in midweek to extend their winning run to nine matches in all competitions. Sparta lost 2-1 at home to Fortuna Sittard last weekend and will be hoping to take advantage of Ajax’s busy schedule and tired legs on Sunday.

Amidst this flurry of  actions across Europe, we have carefully picked a few matches in this Away Wins Special ACCA backing the awesome away favorites to triumph against their hosts.

These selections have been made based on available H2H stats and current forms of the selected teams.

Olorunleke Charges Nigerian Coaches On Creativity as Berackiah/Abigol Football Coaching Clinic Ends in Kano

Nigerian Coaches have been charged to be creative and innovative in order to increase their value as a critical stakeholders in football development.

Mathew Olorunleke, a Nigerian-Italian football coach gave the admonition on Friday during the closing ceremony of the  NLO Berackiah/Abigol Football Coaching Clinic for the North West Zone 'A' in Kano State.

The former Nigeria international

pointed out that the coaches could only unleash their full potentials by upholding principles and values that are worthy of emulation.

"If you aren't trustworthy, who will invest in you? You must be

innovative and creative. By extension you should be able to bring something new to the table", Olorunleke said.

Coach Kelvin Idris who spoke on behalf of the 99 participants who received their certificates on Friday thanked the organizers and resource persons for driving them through the world of football management and administration within the short time of the clinic.

He described the sessions as filled with impact which have widening their horizons about the dug out business.

Sweet 50 Odds of Straight Wins ACCA on ZEbet

Sweet 50 Odds of Straight Wins ACCA on ZEbet

It is another Saturday ushering in a weekend of exciting football actions across leagues around the world.

From England to Scotland, Spain to Italy, Germany to Austria, Belgium to Netherlands, there is no shortage of frenzy football moments.

In the English Premier League, a weakened Liverpool side look to extend their fantastic Merseyside Derby record when they face Everton today.

Liverpool may have returned to winning ways in Budapest on Tuesday but they could find it difficult when they clash with arch rivals Everton on Saturday.

The reigning Premier League champions have won just two of their last ten games in the competition and their 3-1 loss at Leicester last weekend resigned them to a third consecutive defeat for the first time since 2014.

For Everton, this marks the perfect opportunity to end years of disappointment in the Merseyside Derby.

The Toffees haven’t beaten Liverpool since 2010 and they haven’t won at Anfield since 1999, but recent encounters haven’t been as one-sided as this record suggests.

In the German Bundesliga, newly-crowned world club champions Bayern Munich make the trip to Frankfurt in search of three more points.

Frankfurt won 2-0 at home to Cologne last time out and sit 3rd in the Bundesliga table heading into a tricky home game against the champions. Bayern Munich could only manage a 3-3 draw at home to Bielefeld in their last league game, but that match arrived very soon after the FIFA Club World Championship that was held in Qatar and the Bayern players were jaded.

Bayern have a really good record against Frankfurt, winning 59, drawing 21 and losing 22 of the pair’s previous 102 encounters. The German giants have claimed six wins from their last seven games against Frankfurt.

In the Spanish La Liga, Atlético Madrid will be seeking to get the better of Levante this time around as the two sides meet for the second occasion in four days.

Atleti are favourites to overcome Levante this weekend despite the 1-1 draw between the sides in Wednesday’s re-arranged reverse fixture.

Los Colchoneros are impossible to oppose at Wanda Metropolitano after 17 wins and five draws from their last 22 starts here,

Granotas appear likely to come off second best on this occasion, but they can cause problems for an Atleti backline that’s looked nowhere near as solid in recent weeks.

In the Italian Serie A, Lazio are aiming to continue their brilliant run of form at home when they welcome Sampdoria to Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio saw their six-game winning streak broken when they lost at Inter Milan last weekend, but Simeone Inzaghi’s men should continue their strong home form ahead of the visit of Bayern Munich.

Lazio have won each of their last five home league games, a run which stretches to six if you include their recent Coppa Italia win.

Lazio are unbeaten in their last 14 home games against Sampdoria in Serie A (W11 D3), while the visitors have lost almost half of their games on the road this term.

Amidst this flurry of  actions across leagues in Europe, we have carefully picked a few matches in this Straight Wins ACCA tipping the home and away favorites to triumph against their opponents.

These selections have been made based on available H2H stats and current forms of the selected teams.

CAF: Algerian Referee Hails Enyimba Stadium Drainage

Nigeria  football fans in their ignorance took to social media few minutes into the CAF Confederation Cup play-off tie between Enyimba of Aba and Rivers United, calling for the head of the contractors incharge of the Enyimba international stadium due to the heavy downpour that left the pitch waterlogged after just 10 minutes of play.

Most of these fans felt disappointed that a pitch that was laid just about three years ago, shouldn't be in such a mess, knowing the huge resources invested into putting it in it's present state.

However, the center referee for that match, Mehdi ABID CHAREF from Algeria has showered praises on the brains behind the Enyimba international stadium playing pitch, describing the turf as marvelous.

In what could be seen as the case of a prophet not being appreciated by his kinsmen, Charef said in over 15 years of officiating CAF matches on the continent, he has never seen a pitch as good as this. He said the fact that the water on the pitch dried off after just 10minutes was a miracle.

Speaking to top officials of Enyimba of Aba who will not want their names mentioned for obvious reasons, the referee said he had to call off the match when it became obvious that the pitch was waterlogged and the ball was no longer bouncing very well as required by the rules.

Few minutes after ordering the players into the dressing rooms, he blew the whistle calling them out again. He said he did so, because after doing a test alongside his two assistant referees, they were shocked and marveled at what they saw. This is miraculous he screamed as two top officials of Enyimba nodded their heads in agreement.

Enyimba of Aba won on the day by a lone goal and will visit Port Harcourt in a few days time for the return leg.

Fakunle, Agams, Aderemi Lead In NWFL Premiership Team Of Week 5

Fakunle, Agams, Aderemi Lead In NWFL Premiership Team Of Week 5

The NWFL Premiership resumed last Wednesday with a series of entertaining clashes across the country, with a hugely anticipated South-south derby between Delta Queens and Bayelsa Queens ending 1-0 in favour of the Okowa Ladies.

Elsewhere, Sunshine Queens defeated Abia Angels in Umuahia, whilst Confluence Queens beat FC Robo Queens.

It's that time of the week again where we compile our best XI from the mid-week's action. Here is thenwfl.com team of week 5.

Nelly Ekeh (Goalkeeper, Sunshine Queens)

Torned between Ekeh Nelly of Sunshine Queens and Ibubuleye Whyte of Rivers Angels, both keepers handled the occasion well and we're exceptional. However Ekeh got an edge and deserved to be the goalkeeper for week 5.

Sunshine Queens got a win in Umuahia against Abia Angels and the Flamingoes goalkeeper was one of the reasons the 'Betty Babes' secured all three points.

Jumoke Alani (Right Full-back, Edo Queens).

A modern day right full-back, Alani was all round, intercepting play from the Nasarawa Amazons attackers. She completed a lot of passes and was quick to attack and defend from the flank.

Uzoamaka Igwe (Left Full-back, Bayelsa Queens)

Despite her side losing in this encounter, Chiamaka was superb and saved her side a couple of times. This is her second time making the team of the week.

Mary Aderemi (Defensive Midfield, Osun Babes)

The former Sunshine Queens Midfielder produced a fine performance as the Omoluabi Queens engine room, providing a display of typical energy and dynamism.

She set the tempo for her team with her pressing play as they largely dominate the midfield battle against a very busy determined Dreamstar Ladies.

Happiness Titus (Centre-back, Confluence Queens)

The Confluence Queens player was solid defensively and gave an impressive outing against FC Robo Queens, marshalling her side's defence in absence of Alexandria Florence, who fell ill over the week.

She was always there to protect her side from conceding and thus deserves a place in the best eleven for week 5.

Ugo Njoku (Centre-back, Rivers Angels).

The Super Falcons defender had a solid game and was a major boost for Rivers Angels as they got a victory against Ibom Angels in Uyo.

The big defender partnered well with Amaechi Ojini to earn their side a perfect win.

Peace Abbey (Right Wing, Delta Queens)

Peace Abbey was called upon and did fantastically well against Bayelsa Queens. She was visibly seen all around the place and helped the 'Okowa Ladies' secure a hard-fought victory over Bayelsa Queens.

Maryann Ezeanagu (Left-wing, Rivers Angels)

The former Delta Queens winger individual effort was superb, she manoeuvred past a succession of Ibom Angels players, capping a strong showing.

Agams Nkechi (Forward, Confluence Queens).

Two goals in her last two matches means that the former Osun Babes forward has become a peripheral figure for 'The New Direction' under Whyte Ogbonda this season. Her performance is surely pushing her case for more regular involvement in Ogbonda's side.

Chiamaka Okwuchukwu (Midfield, Royal Queens)

Royal Queens have proven they have the firepower to trouble any side in the league and Chiamaka Okwuchukwu hs shown what she can do week in week out. She was outstanding in Calabar and scored the equaliser for her side to level.

Seun Fakunle (Forward, Sunshine Queens)

She has been a key figure for her side this season, scoring some important goals and the latest was the lone goal in Umuahia against Abia Angels. She worked hard all through the game and engaged her self in most of the attacks, which finally earned her a goal.

Kalu relieved to help Katsina United dim Jigawa Golden Stars

Kalu relieved to help Katsina United dim Jigawa Golden Stars

Katsina United striker Samuel Kalu has conceded that the 1-0 win over Jigawa Golden Stars has given them ‘more belief’.

Kalu scored to give the Changi Boys the win, and the forward insisted that it was a well-earned victory in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) on Sunday.

“We knew that it was going to be a difficult game, Jigawa Golden Stars are a team that fight, they maintain their pressure on you for the duration of the match,” he told reporters.

“We were up to the task, we were at our level, we won and that’s the most important thing and now we have to continue working.

“This result gives us a bit of more belief. We are pleased with the game and hope to do more in subsequent encounters.

“Everything is the same, but it is true that we don’t need 20 passes to create a chance, sometimes we can do it with four or five touches.

“We’re not changing the system, we’re adapting it.

“It’s a pleasure to be in the starting team. I’m very pleased and I’ll try to take advantage of the minutes I’m given. I have to continue working.”

Delicious 30 Odds of Straight Wins ACCA on ZEbet

Delicious 30 Odds of Straight Wins ACCA on ZEbet

It's another Sunday offering exciting football actions across leagues around the world.

Headlining the Super Sunday actions in the English Premier League is the super clash between Arsenal and Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.

Leeds United’s incessant work rate has finally started to deliver a better win rate, and fresh from three victories in four assignments, the Yorkshiremen look ready to upset the odds at Arsenal.

Marcelo Bielsa’s slick-passers have also won three of their last four league fixtures on the road, and Leeds’ scintillating performance at high-flying Leicester City last month showed just how potent they can be as the visiting team.

In the Spanish La Liga, champions Real Madrid will be seeking revenge when they host Valencia following their shock 4-1 beating at Mestalla in November.

Carlos Soler’s hat-trick of penalties sealed the points for Los Che in the reverse fixture – a result which has undoubtedly been the highlight of a pretty dismal campaign for Javi Gracia’s charges.

They sit 12th after winning just two of their subsequent 13 starts since that success (D7, L4) and they travel to the capital this weekend having won just one of their last nine away trips.

After five home wins from six, Real Madrid look like banker material here for the points as they seek to hunt down cross-city rivals Atletico at the head of affairs, although it’s worth throwing both teams to score into the mix for this clash.

In the Italian Serie A,  It’s make or break for Inter Milan against Lazio  after their Coppa Italia exit.

Antonio Conte faces a huge test on Sunday night, with Inter Milan now out of the Coppa Italia. He’s now responsible for Inter falling short in the Champions League and Coppa Italia. It’s the title or bust for Conte now.

Facing the league’s in-form side Lazio just adds to the Inter manager’s problems. However, his side have won each of their last seven Serie A games at home.

While Lazio are in good form on the road, five of their six away wins have come at the bottom five. The visitors have lost at AC Milan and Sampdoria this term, while Inter have won eight of nine at home to sides below them.

In the Scottish Premiership, the resurgent Celtic will be seeking to bank their fourth league victory on the spin when they square off against St. Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.

St Johnstone are in decent nick after losing just one of their last eight SPL matches (W3, D4), but Callum Davidson’s side may struggle to land a glove on a resurgent Celtic outfit this weekend.

With the SPL title out of reach, Celtic have seemingly broken the shackles since the turn of the month and go into this contest on the back of three straight victories. Two of those wins came via a 0-4 score-line on the road, including their impressive late show over St Mirren in midweek.

Amidst this flurry of  actions across Europe, we have carefully picked a few matches in this Home/Away Wins ACCA backing the awesome favorites to triumph against their opponents.

These selections have been made based on available H2H stats and current forms of the selected teams.

Sweet 40 Odds of Straight Wins ACCA on ZEbet

Sweet 40 Odds of Straight Wins ACCA on ZEbet

Congratulations to those who won from our delicious 17 odds straight wins ACCA last Sunday.

It is another Saturday starting a weekend of exciting football actions across leagues around the world.

From England to Turkey, Spain to Italy, Germany to Austria, there is no shortage of excitement for football fans.

In the English Premier League, red-hot Manchester City will be seeking to tighten their grip on top spot with a win over Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium.

Tottenham Hotspur were the last team to beat Manchester City when Jose Mourinho’s charges counter-attacked their way to victory in November, though the red-hot Citizens look ready to exact some revenge on Saturday.

The relentless City juggernaut won for the 15th time in a row in midweek when they put Championship high-fliers Swansea to the sword in the FA Cup, though their performance a few days earlier was even more impressive.

Jose Mourinho chose to play a more expansive style in Spurs’ FA Cup tie at Everton on Wednesday evening, though Tottenham conceded an eye-watering five goals at Goodison Park with the shackles off in a pulsating encounter on Merseyside.

Their eventually 5-4 loss in extra time to the Toffees was Tottenham’s fourth reverse in five matches and with Mourinho coming under increasing amounts of scrutiny, Spurs could drop to as low as 9th if results go against them this weekend.

In the Italian Serie A, leaders AC Milan can solidify their position at the top when they face Spezia tonight, in what should be a high scoring contest at Stadio Alberto Picco.

Milan were hit by COVID-19 towards the end of last month which clearly influenced their 0-3 home defeat to Atalanta and 2-1 Coppa Italia exit at the hands of cross-city adversaries Inter,  but I Rossoneri now appear to be firmly back on track following consecutive victories against Bologna (1-2) and Crotone (4-0).

Those wins have kept Stefano Pioli’s men in control by two points at the head of affairs and they’re likely to encounter few problems this weekend when they make the trip to Liguria.

In the German Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen host Mainz at BayArena as they hope to climb back into the top four following a disappointing run.

Leverkusen have slipped down the table following a great start to the season and they’ve picked up just seven points from their last possible 18. Despite this they are just a point behind Frankfurt in fourth place and know that a win here could move them back into the coveted Champions League places.

Mainz have struggled near the bottom of the table for the majority of the season but have put together a small bit of form in recent weeks to leave themselves just four points from safety. They still have it all to do however and will need to continue picking up wins where possible to avoid the drop.

In the Spanish La Liga, Barcelona are expected to bag the points when they entertain Alaves at Camp Nou.

Barcelona are hard to oppose here after five wins and two draws from their last seven La Liga home games, but it’s worth boosting the Catalans’ odds by throwing both teams to score into the mix as well.

The 1-1 draw between the sides at Mendizorroza in October broke a sequence of eight straight victories in the head to head for Barca, who have typically dominated and beaten Babazorros convincingly in recent times.

They are expected to resume that trend on Saturday with the visitors winless in five on the road (D2, L3) and 21 points inferior in the league standings, though prices of around 2/7 for a home success make little appeal.

Amidst this flurry of  actions across leagues in Europe, we have carefully picked a few matches in this Straight Wins ACCA tipping the home and away favorites to triumph against their opponents.

These selections have been made based on available H2H stats and current forms of the selected teams.

National Council on Sports commits to April date for Sports Festival

National Council on Sports commits to April date for Sports Festival.

-FG considers financial support

The Edo 2020 National  Sports Festival  earlier  scheduled  to hold  from February 14th- 28th has been  postponed  till April. This decision was reached after the emergency meeting of the National Council on Sports convened by the HM youth and sports who is the chairman of council.

In attendance were Commisioners

Of Youth and Sports from the states of the federation and Directors of Sports. The Deputy Governor of Edo state was also in attendance.

This recent postponement was occasioned by the second wave of the pandemic and the paucity of funds. The Edo Govt had requested for financial support due to the cost implications it suffered arising from the postponement.

The accommodation prepared at the University of Benin was no longer available for the Atheletes because students had resumed.

Rising from the meeting  of the National Council  on Sports on Monday, Council resolved  that it was   best to shift  the Festival  to a later date due to financial challenges   raised by the host state,  accommodation problems  at the University  of Benin due to the resumption  of academic activities  which would affect the camping of atheletes.

According  to the resolution  of the council, the Federal Government,  Edo state and the council on Sports  agreed that the Festival will  now hold in April since the earlier February  date was no longer feasible.

According to the chairman of Council and Minister of Youth and sports Development Mr *Sunday Dare* "We have seen the Sports Festival postponed three times,' as we speak now most of us should have arrived Edo state getting ready for February 14, Sunday to start the Edo 2020 Sports Festival. But flowing from our last meeting a few things came up. There was an undertone that the postponements have occasioned some financial difficulties and strains on the host state, and I dare say even on our part as the Ministry the postponements have also occasioned some financial difficulties.  On the strength of this similar experience myself, His Excellency the Governor and also Deputy Governor have bounced Ideas, the conversation, back and forth. Of course, when December came, we know that almost everything stopped but it was agreed that it was important to approach the Federal Government for financial support. I'm  glad to report that the Federal Government  is favourably disposed to assisting Edo State to host the  Festival. In the next few day, we hope to  push through the document  through the Ministry  of Finance to get the financial  support to get the Festival  on track. The February  14th date was not cast in stone as we wanted to avoid another postponement. But we must agree that the  February  14th date is no longer  feasible."

" The importance  of the Festival  cannot be  over emphasized.  The idea of not holding the Festival  should be thrown  out completely . It is an Olympics  year, it would help shape the atheletes  for the Olympics."

On his part. The Chairman of the Main Organizing Committee  and Edo State Deputy Governor  Comrade Philip Shuaibu said “I agree the Festival  should hold before the Olympics to get our athletes  fit and to secure points they require for the Olympics. Every postponement goes with a cost, but we are totally  committed  to hosting the festival. We are very expectant  of the support of the Federal Government  to make the Festival  a reality"

Barr. Edeh Offers Scholarship To Over 40 Players, Says Football Can Help Tackle Gender-Based Violence

Bar. Edeh Offers Scholarship To Over 40 Players, Says Football Can Help Tackle Gender-Based Violence

Football as a sport is an important tool to bring people together and also educate boys about true masculinity, violence prevention and the rights of women. That's why NWFL Championship side, Naija Ratels Football Club took out time to play a novelty match against a team assembled by it's President, Barrister Paul Edeh on the 6th of February 2021 at the Area 3 Football pitch, Abuja.

A minute of silence was held before the start of the match in memory of victims of Gender-based violence across the world.

The game which featured some notable individuals was filled with fun and excitement, as both teams united to end violence against women. The Naija Ratels Ladies scored first through Adanna Nwachukwu  before Kenny Jubril equalised late on for the Barrister Paul Edeh side to make it 1-1.

"Sports is a vital tool for building peace and understanding across nations and can also be a powerful instrument to oppose violence against the girl child, helping promote gender equality and also children's right", said Naija Ratels President, Barrister Paul Edeh.

"I passionately believe in the power of sport. The values that I have as a man, leader, husband and father must be used to help women who are being abused and to focus our attention on preventing abuse from happening by educating boys about true masculinity, violence prevention and rights of women.

The United Nations SDG Peace Ambassador further stated that he will be offering scholarships to all his players to the University level, noting that those who failed WAEC and NECO will retake it, while UTME forms will be brought for those with required credits.

"We live in a society where too much attention has been taken away from the girl child. We live in a society where the girl child appears to be abandoned and neglected. We live in a society where the emphasis on the social vices associated with what we do against the girl child isn't highlighted.

"So today, I came together with my friends to be able to highlight a very topical theme which has to do with Gender based violence, we have come here to say no to gender-based violence, that the girl child need to be given opportunity to express themselves in a society that belongs to them as well.

"When we forayed into the game of football, investing in the game of football, we decided we aren't going to do it business as usual, we knew the education of these children was very key, hence we decided to give all of them scholarships and help them realise their dreams, also we diversified into farming and other business to keep funding these girls who have left their homes to come play for Naija Ratels. Their welfare is well catered for and that's very important for us." He concluded.

A lawyer and human rights activist, Barrister Nicholas Elechi lauded the initiative and tasked the Federal Government, NFF and other notable Stakeholders to give more support to Bar. Paul Edeh in the project.

"We are marking an end to violence against women in the society with this event. It's amazing what Barrister Paul Edeh is doing. A single individual doing what so many Nigerians cannot do. He has given scholarships to over forty girls which will enable them to get the best of education. It's really amazing

"He is a very good example of what it means to be a great Nigerian. Wilson Churchill once said: ' If every Englishman can defend his family, the whole of England will be defended."

"I  urge the Nigerian Government, NFF and other key stakeholders to support him in this course. I am really impressed."

Also, Ex-International and Chairman of Kogi United and Confluence Queens, Abdul Sule, who was one of the participants, thanked the convener, Barrister Paul Edeh for giving support and recognition to the girlchild, noting that he will always be available for anything that has to do with Gender-based violence.

Confluence Queens Players Cry for Help

Confluence Queens Players Cry for Help

Except with last minute intervention by Kogi State Government, Confluence Queens will not honor their NWPL home game against FC Robo on Wednesday.

Following the one month postponement of matches due to Covid 19 mandatory test, the NWPL may witness it first walk-over under the current league board as reports say Confluence Queens have no money to continue the league.

The Lokoja based side are to resume for the continuation of women's league when the hostilities get underway at Confluence Stadium on Wednesday.

Inside sources who revealed to our correspondent have it that the Queens who are 11th on the NWPL log have been cash strapped following neglect by state government.

Their male counterparts owned by Kogi State Government, Kogi United had on Thursday protested for backlog of entitlements and sign on fees for two seasons.

One of the players of Confluence Queens who spoke on the condition of anonymity said the girls were ready to stay out of the Wednesday game billed for Confluence Stadium, Lokoja as they cannot play with empty stomach calling on Governor Yahaya Bello to come to the team rescue.

"I'm not sure we will honor our next game, with the look of things in our team.

"We have not received any sign on fees for the past three years, no match bonus, the management are owing us l

ots of outstanding traveling allowances, we don't have training materials, no bus."

"We've been training and preparing with everyday promises that things will get better but nothing yet, except the management answer us by giving us what we need, no match.

"We've not been paid our sign on fees for two and half seasons, even to play matches is always a problem. Nothing to eat and no camping we will just go to matches like that, we are tired of this and we cannot be playing on empty stomach," she said.

Efforts to reach the chairman of the club, Abdul Sule proved abortive as his lines couldn't go through as at the time of filing this report.

The New Direction Queens who finished as runners up last season are eleventh on the ongoing NWPL log due to several challenges.
